Edible Images - Easy Photo Prints for Cakes and Cookies printed in-store.

• We can print from the existing PhotoCake® Image Library
• We can print your custom images if brought to us on a USB Flash Drive.  
• Images of REAL PEOPLE can be emailed to us at questions@artisincakes.com.  Please do not send emails containing characters, logos, or designs that are trademarked. 

 TWO SIZES TO CHOOSE FROM:

• PRINTED SHEET:  8" by 10.5" max printable/usable area, formatted on a legal sized sheet with 1.5" margins top and bottom and .7" margins left and right.  
• 2" PRECUT CIRCLES, 12 to a sheet.

IMAGE LIBRARY:

• There are hundreds of available and approved licensed images to choose from, covering everything from Disney to Marvel and all of your favorite sports teams from our partners at the PhotoCake® Library.
• At checkout enter the CakeID Number in the NOTES section during online ordering so we find and print the correct item for you.

HOW WE ACCEPT YOUR CUSTOM IMAGES:

• Please bring your JPG IMAGES or PRINT READY WORD DOCUMENT into the shop on a USB flash drive.

TERMS:

I understand and agree that:

• ONCE I CONFIRM THE SIZE AND SCALE, AND THE IMAGE IS PRINTED, THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS.
  
• My photos must be Royalty-Free, Non-Copyright, Non-Trademarked, and Non-Licensed. Most images found online are copyrighted in some way. 
• Images must be brought in on a USB flash drive or selected from the PhotoCake Library. Art Is In Cakes will not accept emailed images that might have any form of copyright infringement.
  
• Each computer’s monitor settings vary, and copies printed from the copier and images printed through Word may have color variances. I accept those color variances.
• Art Is In Cakes will NOT download images or documents to its hard drive. Images must be brought in on a USB drive to print directly from our edible image system.
• Art Is In Cakes is not responsible for obtaining permission to use images, and if I wish to use a copyrighted image I must obtain and provide written permission from the image owner.
• To confirm that scale and size is correct, I should come into the store.

Custom Images

NEED HELP SIZING?  WHAT WE NEED TO KNOW:

• If you aren’t providing a PRINT-READY document, then we will need to know how to size your image.
• Please be prepared to tell us how tall or how wide you would like your image scaled on the page.
• Keep in mind, if we adjust height, then the width is ALSO going to change to keep the image proportional.  And if we change width, the height will change.
• Helpful information includes: Is it going on a cake, Oreos, berries? What size are your items? Is it going on the top or the side? Please be as clear as possible.

FILE TYPES WE ACCEPT:

• 1st OPTION: High-resolution Jpeg Images – brought to us on a USB flash drive. With jpg’s, we can place them on the page where you want them, scale them, crop them, and rotate them.
• 2ND OPTION: PRINT READY Word Document set to Legal Size with 1.5" margins top and bottom and no smaller than .7" margins left and right. We can not download your document to scale, edit, or change your images. They must be ready to print.

• NOTE: WORD DOCS AND FANCY SCRIPTS: If you use a fancy script in your document, and we don’t own that script, your font will revert to basic Calibri Font. To print fancy scripts/fonts, please send us the font file for installation: send us the .ttf or .otf font file, or convert your Print Ready word document to pdf print file.

THE LEGAL PENALTIES FOR COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT ARE:

• INFRINGER PAYS THE ACTUAL DOLLAR AMOUNT OF DAMAGES AND PROFITS FOR EACH INCIDENT
• THE LAW PROVIDES A RANGE FROM $200 TO $150,000 FOR EACH WORK INFRINGED, FOR EACH INCIDENT
• INFRINGER PAYS FOR ALL ATTORNEYS FEES AND COURT COSTS.
• THE COURT CAN ISSUE AN INJUNCTION TO STOP THE INFRINGING ACTS.
• THE COURT CAN IMPOUND THE ILLEGAL WORKS.
• THE INFRINGER CAN GO TO JAIL.
